I'm really interested in making a module to support geofencing in Android. I've read the docs re: Android module development, and I've got a fair sense of how the geofencing actually works in Android, but I'm not exactly sure where to begin in terms of porting it to a module.
Android has very nice documentation re: geofencing here. I guess my main question is:
Does anyone know of a step-by-step guide for a first-time Android module developer that's a little more fine-grained than the documentation? E.g., I know don't fully understand how all the pieces fit together. It'd be great to see a piece of native Android code — for example, the geofencing example I mentioned — ported to a Titanium module to get a better sense of where to use different parts of the module API.
