Emulatior Timeout

Hi,

I have seen a number of questions lately about emulator timeout. I know the cause, but not how to fix.

[INFO] Launching Android emulator...one moment [DEBUG] From: C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools\emulator.exe [DEBUG] SDCard: C:\Documents and Settings\tcuddy.titanium\android2.sdcard [DEBUG] AVD ID: 16 [DEBUG] AVD Skin: HVGA [DEBUG] SDK: C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk [DEBUG] "C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\adb.exe" start-server [DEBUG] C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools\emulator.exe -avd titanium_16_HVGA -port 5560 -sdcard C:\Documents and Settings\tcuddy.titanium\titanium_16_HVGA.sdcard -logcat :d, -no-boot-anim -partition-size 128 invalid command-line parameter: and. Hint: use '@foo' to launch a virtual device named 'foo'. please use -help for more information [DEBUG] signal caught: 3 [DEBUG] calling emulator kill on 5716 ERROR: The process "5716" not found.

You can see that Titanium is calling adb.exe with the $user_home/.titanium directory.

the path is not quoted, so adb barfs on the "documents and settings'.

I am not sure how to change either titanium, or the Android SDK to point to a different directory. I can start the emulator manually using ADK, but titanium doesnt connect to the manually launched.

Using Titanium Studio, build: 1.0.4.201108101535

Any workaround would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tom Cuddy
